NL Ondernemingsfonds, an initiative to fund Dutch SME’s launched on Euronext

The NL Ondernemingsfonds, a market initiative to provide funding to Dutch SME’s, has received positive media attention at the launch on the 13th of January 2014.

The NL Ondernemingsfonds was presented on the floor of the Dutch stock exchange by the CEOs of participating parties ABN AMRO Bank, ING Bank, MN, Rabobank, Robeco and Syntrus Achmea. The initiative for this fund was taken in 2012 by Euronext in partnership with AF Advisors.

Institutional investors and banks provide funding by means of fund and bank financing in a unique co financing set up. This will open up a new source for financing to Dutch business’. It is the fund’s ambition to grow to EUR 1 billion in the coming years.
