Sustainability is important in our work. Our knowledge and services related to ESG topics are expanding, and sustainability is being integrated into the different business lines. We believe it is essential to consider our own business and our actions as a result.
We are proud to publish our sustainability report for 2022: Zooming in on AF Advisors in a world of sustainability. Although the CSRD regulation does not require us to publish on our impact, we will openly report and increase the reporting. We can continuously monitor, enhance, and speed things up in this manner.
In 2022 we made steps towards sustainability and set new goals. We have started measuring new indicators, such as CO2 emissions and diversity factors. When we have measured the indicators we can start steering on impact.
In 2022 we have taken a closer look at diversity and the different factors that are related to it. This year we made an overview of the gender and age diversity within the company. With this information we can increase awareness. We believe you can only get the best results with a diverse team. That relates to factors such as gender and age, but also cultural background, personality type and academic background. Linking to this, one of our core values as a company is: seeing the value of multidisciplinarity. From different backgrounds and perspectives we can give the best advise. In 2023 we are planning on integrating (more) DE&I in our HR policy.
As a company we make the most impact with our services. When advising the asset management industry we can put ESG on the agenda and integrate it in the industry. In our Sustainability report we give examples on how we are working on achieving that now. However, we could not be a credible critical sparring partner of the industry, if we wouldn’t take a critical look at our own business. Therefore, we have decided to focus on our own operations in this report: Zooming in on AF Advisors in a world of sustainability.
