Prohibition of making a profit?
AF Advisors’ partner Philip de Koeijer and Guido Corbeau published an article (in Dutch) in PensioenAdvies about asset management of Algemeen Pensioenfondsen (APF). The APF allows for different segregated pension schemes to operate under a single board. In the article different aspects of asset management for APFs are dealt with: Economies of scale, the use of funds, mandates and derivatives as well as the governance and the level of independence in relationships between the pension fund and the promoter.
