Comparability of sustainable investing has to improve

AF Advisors’ partner Jasper Haak published an article on Fondsnieuws about the comparability of sustainable investing.

Sustainable investing is after passive investing the second most important development in the asset management industry in the last 10 years. There are substantial differences in the way that asset managers implement sustainability policies. Going forward, the comparability of these policies has to improve.

Sustainable investing was practiced by only a handful of managers at the end of the last century. These were followed by managers who started to offer sustainable variations of their investment funds. The resistance to sustainability, previously coming from American asset managers, has disappeared over the years. Nowadays, most of the asset management industry implements sustainability in the investment process.
