Sustainability is not a standalone topic at AF Advisors. It is an integral part of how we work, how we serve our clients and how we contribute to the financial sector. Across our organisation, we continuously look for opportunities to create positive impact.
We are therefore proud to present our Sustainability Report 2025. In this report, we share the progress we have made over the past year across four dimensions: environment, people, society and clients. We also demonstrate how sustainability is becoming increasingly embedded in our day-to-day activities.
In 2025, we continued to make meaningful progress. Our CO₂e emissions per employee decreased by approximately 7% compared to 2024, driven by further improvements in sustainable mobility and lower energy consumption at our office. We also further formalised our sustainable procurement policy and continued to invest in a healthy, safe and inspiring working environment for our employees.
From a societal perspective, 2025 was also marked by increased engagement. Our employees selected Stichting LEF as AF Advisors’ new social partner. Through this partnership, we will contribute to improving financial literacy and financial self-reliance among young people in the coming years. In addition, our colleagues continued to actively contribute to the public debate on sustainable investing and the future of the financial sector through articles, podcasts, webinars, events and roundtable discussions.
A new element this year is that the report has been structured in accordance with the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs (VSME). This framework provides a practical approach to sustainability reporting for small and medium-sized enterprises and aligns with our ambition to report transparently on our progress.
Alongside our results, the report also includes personal stories from people connected to AF Advisors. Ernst de Klerk, Bibianne van Teylingen Bakker and Casper Valkenburg share their experiences and illustrate how sustainability, social engagement and impact play a role both within and beyond AF Advisors.
For us, sustainability remains a continuous journey of improvement. Not because we are required to do so, but because we believe a future-proof financial sector requires organisations that take responsibility for their impact.
Lucienne de Bakker, Bibianne van Teylingen Bakker, Nikki Trip and Petra Stassen contributed to the development of this report.
