What is the future of Dutch asset management industry?

AF Advisors’ partner Jasper Haak published an article on Fondsnieuws about the future of the Dutch asset management industry.

Jasper claims that it is rather uncertain that Kempen, Robeco and NN Investment Partners will still be independent in 2025.

In the past couple of years, a number of asset managers disappeared. Examples include ABN AMRO Asset Management, Fortis Investment Management or Holland Beleggingsgroep. Just recently, a takeover of Delta Lloyd by NN Group was announced and a similar fate is thus expected for Delta Lloyd Asset Management.

Further, Robeco and Actiam were bought by ambitious companies which do not exclude the possibility of further acquisitions.
