The benefits of AI are numerous, but they can only be consciously weighed against the (potential) disadvantages if organizations and their employees understand how this technology works. Applying it without adequate knowledge can have far-reaching consequences, as the ‘toeslagenaffaire’ has shown. Responsible use requires reliable, transparent, and ethically sound decision-making.
