At the beginning of this year, the additional obligations from the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR level 2) became applicable to financial institutions, including asset managers and pension funds. A number of documents on the sustainability of investment products had to be published by 1 January 2023 at the latest, in particular the statement on the main adverse effects of investment decisions and information on the sustainability characteristics of financial products. The approach of towards some of the new SFDR obligations of the 25 largest asset managers with fund distribution in the Netherlands have been analysed. The most remarkable findings are included in this article which is only available in Dutch.
