Ernst de Klerk will be appointed partner of AF Advisors as of January 1, 2023. Ernst leads the regulatory consultancy team at AF Advisors. This team manages legislative implementation projects and advises on sustainability regulations and on regulations for investment funds and investment firms. As a partner, he will be responsible for further expanding this service.

Ernst will join AF Advisors as a partner on January 1, 2023. Ernst started his career in 2009 at the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets. He worked at Robeco for almost ten years as a compliance officer and director product development. In the meantime, he received a Phd in financial law, with the protection of participants in investment funds as his main research topic.
Ernst has been working at AF Advisors since October 2020, where he has further specialized in sustainability legislation. He is a much sought-after speaker and author in the Netherlands in the field of sustainability legislation. In addition to his extensive knowledge and broad experience, Ernst also has the skills to supervise complex advisory processes and change processes.
Ernst will further develop the regulatory consultancy services of AF Advisors in recent years. The focus of the team in the meantime will be on investment funds, investment firms and sustainability regulations. AF Advisors will not only provide impact analyzes and manage implementation projects, but also provide guidance and advisory services on these topics.
