AF Advisors’ consultant Guido Corbeau wrote an article about the best emerging markets debt funds. Differentiation through currency, duration and credit ratings gave the edge to the winning funds.
The list contains funds from various asset managers. The Only manager to have two funds in Top 10 was BlackRock with the BGF Emerging Markets Local Currency Fund taking the first position and the iShares Emerging Market Local Government Bond ETF on the sixth place. State Street took the second place with SPDR Barclays Emerging Markets Local Bond ETF and PIMCO secured the third place with PIMCO Emerging Markets Advantage Local Bond Index ETF.
